Each moment of life is an opportunity calling us to participate, to engage, and to fulfill our potential. The Daphne Michaels Institute for Personal Development offers every incoming class member new and exciting opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
Our Endless Possibilities Program begins with the creation of a small community of peers committed to discovering how to take their lives to the next level. Upon graduating from this initial intensive nine-month program, class members may continue with their peers in the Endless Possibilities Graduate Program or additional programs, all designed and facilitated by Daphne Michaels.
The institute’s long-term learning community offers a rich culture of like-minded individuals. Our learners represent a broad spectrum of society, from physicians and other healthcare professionals to small business owners, from stay-at-home moms to philanthropists, and from gardeners and artists to national leaders.
Nestled in the beauty of Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Mountain Range, Commencement Bay and the historic architecture of the City of Destiny, the Daphne Michaels Institute for Personal Development has since 2001 helped hundreds of women and men design the lives of their dreams.
“In her new book, The Gifted, Daphne Michaels reminds us that we can create the life we desire and describes the nine gifts that are the keys to living lives filled with ease, freedom, wonder, and joy. Written simply yet poignantly, The Gifted should become a favorite book as you traverse the adventures of your life.”
– Patti Teel, People Magazine’s “Dream Maker”
Daphne Michaels is an author, speaker and licensed psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience. As a teenager she was haunted by a vision of two human worlds — one of love and one of suffering. She couldn't reconcile these two worlds, but she knew she needed to try if she wanted to find for herself and others the keys to living a life that held authentic meaning and joy that could not be lost. That vision became a life-long journey which led her to study formally in social sciences, human services and integral psychology.
In addition to the 2001 launch of the Daphne Michaels Institute for Personal Development, in 2005 Michaels hosted a lively radio program that aired weekly to a broadcast audience of two million people in the Pacific Northwest. On her program she interviewed such international figures in the fields of personal development and spirituality including Ram Dass, Julia Cameron, Dr. Masaru Emoto, and Thomas Moore. Her first book, Light of Our Times: Conversations with Today's Leaders in Health and Spirituality (2006), shared those powerful interviews.
Her newest book, The Gifted: How to Live the Life of Your Dreams, was a featured new title at the 2014 International Book Expo in New York.
